By Back in the saddle again!
I won’t lie to you: Our 10th anniversary stripped away a lot of desire to ever throw another live event ever again! But … here we are. And truthfully, they’re just too much fun to totally give up, so let’s boogie!
Beyond thrilled to have a great trio of punk bands playing another MGRM showcase! Mattstagraham is a name that may not be familiar to you, but longtime fans of the magazine may remember Cement Shoes, who we not only have run a feature on many moons ago, but also generously provided a song to be the intro to our now-shuttered movie podcast Trailer Trashed! We’re stoked to have Matt’s latest project headlining our upcoming show. Down the bill you can find the post-punk’y stylings of Mac Luster, for whom we premiered a brand new single today (you can listen to it here), and rising emo/hardcore project Alberta!
This is an early show the day before Valentine’s Day! Doors are at 6 p.m., music at 6:30 p.m., so plan accordingly! And let’s be real: For 10 dollars, this is the cheapest pre-V-Day date in town!
