By Back in the saddle again!
I won’t lie to you: Our 10th anniversary stripped away a lot of desire to ever throw another live event ever again! But… here we are. And truthfully, they’re just too much fun to just totally give up, so let’s boogie!
Beyond thrilled to have a great trio of punk bands playing another MGRM showcase! Mattstagraham is a name that may not be familiar to you, but longtime fans of the magazine may remember Cement Shoes, who we not only have run a feature on many moons ago but also generously provided a song to be the intro to our now shuttered movie podcast Trailer Trashed! We’re stoked to have Matt’s latest project headlining our upcoming show. And down the bill you can find the post-punk’y stylings of Mac Luster, for whom we premiered a brand new single for today (you can listen to it here), and rising emo/hardcore project Alberta!
This is an early show the day before Valentine’s Day! Doors are at 6 p.m., music at 6:30 p.m., so plan accordingly! And let’s be real: For 10 dollars, this is the cheapest pre-V-Day date in town!
